Pelvic Floor Support for Women and Men
Leaks, a sudden urge to rush to the toilet, back pain, or changes after childbirth, menopause or prostate treatment can all be linked to the pelvic floor. Our chair uses magnetic stimulation to prompt deep pelvic floor muscle contractions in a 28 minute seated session. You stay fully clothed and there is no downtime.
FREE TRIAL SESSION AND CONSULTATION
Start with a free trial and a one to one consultation with our MSc qualified practitioner. We talk through your symptoms and goals and check the chair is right for you. Every client is carefully screened before treatment. Your free trial appointment takes 45 minutes to an hour. After your consultation you try a short taster session on the chair. Full treatment sessions are 28 minutes. We take a small refundable deposit to book your appointment. This helps us keep our treatment rooms organised and our pelvic floor experts' time booked out in the calendar. If you go ahead with a package, your deposit comes off the price. If you decide not to, we refund it.

PELVIC FLOOR SUPPORT FOR MEN
Pelvic floor weakness is common in men, especially after prostate treatment, but it is rarely talked about. If you notice leaks, dribbling after the toilet or urgency, our chair may help support your pelvic floor strength. You stay fully clothed, and every man is carefully screened first. If you have had prostate surgery, we ask for your surgeon or consultant to agree that treatment is suitable, and we discuss timing at your free consultation.
HOW IT WORKS
The chair delivers high intensity magnetic pulses that reach deep pelvic floor muscles. These trigger thousands of contractions in one session, which is hard to achieve through exercises alone.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• 28 minutes, seated and fully clothed
• No downtime
• Some people feel mild muscle soreness afterwards, like after a workout
YOUR PLAN
Your practitioner recommends how many sessions you need at your consultation. Packages from £28 per session, with payment plans available.
WHO IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR
Not suitable if you:
• Are pregnant
• Have a pacemaker, defibrillator, neurostimulator, bladder pacemaker or insulin pump
• Have had a stent or bypass in the last 6 months
• Have heart disease or heart rhythm problems
• Have epilepsy or have had a stroke
• Have active cancer
• Have metal screws, nails, wires or clips in your lower spine or pelvis
• Have a hip implant, silicone implant or knee replacement (up to 10cm above the knee)
• Have a copper or gold coil (hormonal coils need a position check after treatment)
• Have metal in a tattoo or piercing in the intimate area
• Have had surgery in the last 8 weeks
Not recommended at the moment if you are menstruating, breastfeeding, have a urinary tract infection, fever or infection, painful haemorrhoids, an open wound, a cochlear implant, or take blood thinning medication. If you have had cancer treatment and your consultant has confirmed you are clear, you may be able to have treatment. We talk this through at your consultation.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Is it a replacement for physio or an NHS assessment?
No. It complements pelvic floor exercises and professional care. If you have not had your symptoms assessed, we encourage you to see your GP too.
Does it help urgency as well as leaks?
Many people with urgency find pelvic floor strengthening helpful. We discuss your symptoms at your free consultation and tell you honestly whether the chair is likely to suit you.
Can men use it?
Yes, subject to screening. If you have had prostate surgery, we ask for your consultant's agreement first.
Who cannot have the treatment?
See the list above. We check everything with you before any treatment.
Results vary between individuals. This treatment does not replace medical advice.
